The goal of the Setting Sun puzzle is to move the large square with the red dot (the 'sun') from its initial position at the middle-top to the middle-bottom, by sliding the pieces within the rectangular area.

Here's a solution in 112 steps, the shortest found by software I wrote.
This was inspired by a puzzle I saw made of wood and pleasant to manipulate.
